Obadiah Wigfall

Partner, felony defense

Felony cases from the first appearance through motions, plea talks and trial.

Obadiah defends people charged with felonies. He reads every page of discovery himself before the first case meeting, and he writes each client a case plan in plain words.

He lives in Pueblo and meets most clients by video, wherever in Colorado they live, and goes to court in person when the case calls for it.

The plan comes before the first hearing

Obadiah’s first deliverable is a case plan, a page or two that says what the state has, what it still needs, and what he thinks the first three court dates will be. He sends it before the first appearance, so the hearing holds no surprises.

On a felony he does his own scene visit when one is in the fee. He reports back by video with photographs, and the plan is revised if what he saw changes it.
